The police and my attorney recommended moving to another complex. I just recently ended a relationship a few months ago. This apartment complex is the absolute worst. Such a horrible experience to ruin all the other good ones. Then they denied the applicant and wouldnt tell me why they denied him.So now we are paying two housing payments, and down $85 for no reason.I would never recommend this complex just because of the management. The office charged ME the $85 application fee instead of the applicant. only it happened three times.I finally found someone that was willing to go through the application process with Lantower so they could take over our contract. When I called them out of this they said they mustve been at a tour. Five minutes later Id call on a friends phone and they would answer the phone. They refused.They finally stopped answering my calls! I would call on my phone, no answer. I asked them to send us people that were interested in our floorplan so we could offer them our contract instead of starting a new one. I asked them to list our apartment as available online to see if someone would be interested in taking our lease now. They insisted that we had to pay for an extra month and 5 days but at the month to month rate which was over $500 more than what we normally pay. As soon as we knew for sure we told them we were going to move out, which still gave them like 25 days notice. We definitely read the email, and did not understand what it meant).We were in the process of buying a home in the crazy market and werent able to give 60 day notice because we didnt know if we were going to get a home or not. (They inform you of this policy in an email before you leave, but the wording is SUPER confusing. Unknowingly to us, if you do not give the office 60 day notice that you are leaving they automatically enroll you in a month to month contract after your contract ends, and youll be required to pay for two months in advance until you give a 60 day notice. BUT then we tried to leave and had/are having THE WORST experience with the management. The pool is great, gym is amazing, residents are friendly, and the apartments are super nice. Until 2 months ago I wouldve given 5 stars! My husband and I and our toddler lived here for a year and loved everything about this complex (besides that it doesnt have a playground for kids).
